 Martím-pescador-pigmeu-Oriental (Ceyx erithaca) encontrado na Ásia. É considerado uma das aves coloridas mais belas do mundo; são muito tímidos e dificilmente avistados. O nome científico foi baseado em uma lenda grega, em que os deuses  transformaram Alcíones a filha de Éolo, o mestre dos ventos, e seu marido Ceix filho de Eósforo, a Estrela-d'Alva, em pássaros coloridos. ©

Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher (Ceyx erithaca) found in Asia. It is considered one of the most beautiful colorful birds in the world; are very shy and hardly ever sighted. The scientific name was based on a Greek legend, when the gods turned Alcyone the daughter of Aeolus, the master of the winds, and her husband Ceyx son of Eosphoros, the Morning Star, on colorful birds.©
