Spiny bush viper (Atheris hispida), found in Africa. It measures up to about 28 inches, has keeled scales that makes it seem bristly and even more dangerous and have a strong poison, that afects their preys and humans that may be biten; they feed on small rats and birdas and, unlike most vipers, it lacks the heat-sensing pit organs, relying only on on visual, tactile, and olfactory senses to detect and capture prey.©
